Mrs. Piller serves as the Artistic Director of Albemarle Ballet Theatre and is a dance and Pilates teacher and choreographer. She is passionate about teaching young people and expanding community relationships and engagement through the art of dance. Veronica is also the founder and director of concorDance contemporary, a professional contemporary dance company. She formerly danced with the Charleston Ballet Theatre, San Diego Ballet, The Garage Contemporary Ballet, Charlottesville Ballet, and Keith Lee Dances. Veronica began her training with her mother, Sally Hart. She continued her dance education at the Virginia School of the Arts and the Joffrey Ballet School and was blessed to have been the recipient of many scholarships. She has performed leading roles in Cinderella, Paquita, Les Corsaire, Les Sylphede, and Swan Lake, as well as original works created for her. When she’s not in the studio Veronica enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
