About me
As one of the first employees at UVA's Data Science Institute, Reggie Leonard built out career development support, expanded the organization's network, and helped connect the data science community to their efforts. He’s served on Charlottesville's Open Data Advisory Group, created the Charlottesville Women in Data Science Conference (housed at UVA), and co-created the Charlottesville Data Science Meetup and the Tom Tom Applied Machine Learning Conference. Reggie is also a former board member at New City Arts and is currently working on “Oenoverse” initiatives to increase diversity and representation in the Virginia Wine industry.
