Melissa Phillips is a Data Scientist and the Community Engagement Coordinator at GA-CCRi, a Charlottesville-based geospatial data science company. As a Team Lead on the Tracking team, Melissa's work involves extracting features and fusing data sources to empower decision-makers by providing an enriched view of air, maritime or ground objects. A career switcher, Melissa was formerly a Math teacher who earned her MSDS degree at UVA's School of Data Science.
