Bringing more than $2 billion in M&A and restructuring deal experience to Fermata Energy, John Wheeler is focused on the rapid commercialization and deployment of vehicle-to-everything solutions. He develops the use cases and investment structures that make V2G a fast-growing reality and widely sought-after grid-edge solution throughout North America and Europe. John also worked with green visionary, Bill McDonough, advising Fortune 500 companies on renewable and energy efficiency strategies. Before joining Fermata, John previously served as a fellow with the Environmental Defense Fund, where he helped SAP Labs evaluate their green software portfolio and achieve their goal of becoming 50% renewably powered. John holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a B.S. in Environmental Design from Art Center College of Design, and a B.S. in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Virginia.
