Joe joined Ix Art Park as a volunteer teaching artist in 2019, he is one of the original artists featured in the Looking Glass and was brought on as Programs/Education Director in early 2020. From there he built numerous arts education programs, including a robust summer camp program, based on painting, illustration, sculpture, and stop-motion animation. He was an integral part of the Looking Glass expansion, assisting and supporting the curator and contributing again as an artist. In response to the pandemic, he created the Outside Art Room, a frequent feature of the park, offering art-making opportunities at no cost.
