Jim is a Co- Founder/Co-Chair of CAV-Angels, an Angel investment club for UVA Alumni, he is a member of several Angel Investment and PE firms/groups; and is a mentor and advisor to numerous startup companies.
Jim is also a serial tech entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the Angel investment and startup community and served as Virginia's Secretary of Commerce and Trade from 2010-2014. He is currently Chief Strategy Officer to Pamunkey Indian Enterprises and serves on numerous community and non-profit boards.
