Dana has spent more than 25 years in business and has focused the majority of her career on hi-tech. She spent 11 years in Silicon Valley as part of 6 venture-backed startups. Those companies ranged in focus from enterprise ecommerce platform providers to SaaS personalization and digital marketing providers. She was also Director of Business Development for the founding Amazon Web Services team. Dana expanded her focus to include the biotech industry starting in 2009 with the formation of Shoulder Innovations, a cutting-edge medical device company specializing in shoulder arthroplasty. Her current role is Entrepreneur In Residence for the CvillBioHub, which involves advising early-stage biotech companies in all stages of their formation and development.
