In the past ten years, Roanoke’s Innovation Corridor has experienced remarkable growth. Today, Roanoke, Virginia has attracted thousands of the top researchers, physicians, faculty, students, and medical professionals who are motivated by the opportunity to make meaningful discoveries that broaden our knowledge of clinical care and biomedical science.
The City of Roanoke is also responsible for launching Roanoke's first technology accelerator, RAMP in 2018. To date, RAMP has accelerated 52 technology and biotechnology companies that have created 700+ jobs and brought $30M in capital into the region.
