Born in Casablanca, Morocco. Moved to America at the age of 20 to pursue my graduate studies and passion for soccer and middle-distance running. In my teenage years, I wanted to be either a fashion designer or a chef. Neither came true, but better things happened. Fashion for me is one of many tools one uses to express a little bit about who we are as unique individuals and a few character traits. I grew up in a traditional society and was told directly and indirectly what kinds of clothes, styles, and colors to wear. It took me some time and a little bit of courage to say hell with this. I want to wear what I like, what fits, and expresses a bit of my rebellious side. Colors don’t scare me but rather inspire me.
