Andrei Matorin is a Brazilian-born violinist, composer, songwriter, and producer. He began performing professionally at the age of 15 and spent most of his professional career in New York City. He has since been featured as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, MoMA, as well as speaking at TEDx on the power of connecting through authenticity and improvisation. While rooted in classical and jazz traditions, Matorin's music is also influenced by electronic and traditional indigenous music from around the world, creating immersive, genre-bending sonic journeys. As an artist his intention is to create musical containers that serve as vehicles for deep individual and collective healing. @matorinmusic
