Teira serves the CIC team as its Director of Communications + Engagement. A dual, magna cum laude graduate of Florida A&M University, one of the nation’s most renowned public HBCUs, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration, with management and marketing concentrations, respectively. Teira has over eighteen years of multifaceted expertise in the areas of branding, marketing, communications, business development, and operations. As a tenured business owner, published author, and lifelong learner, she also has a rich, thorough history with non-profit organizations. Her greatest joy is inspiring others to tap into their purpose, stand in their truth, maximize their potential, and utilize their story to fulfill their dreams and impact the lives of those around them.
