About me
In 2008, as a 40-year-old single mother, TRICIA DUNLAP left teaching for law school. She started her law career at McGuireWoods and then founded Dunlap Law in 2015. Tricia bootstrapped DL from a solo practice to a 5-lawyer team serving businesses and nonprofits with “results-focused billing” practices and subscription plans with unlimited access to your primary attorney. Tricia is a tenacious, visionary leader disrupting the traditional law firm model and re-inventing how Dunlap Law educates and empowers business owners and nonprofit leaders.
Her work has been covered by Virginia Business magazine, The VBA Journal, Richmond BizSense, Today’s General Counsel, and Business Law Today, among others. Tricia has been recognized with numerous awards: “Go-To Lawyer” for Business, Legal Elite, RVA Power Women (finalist), Super Lawyers, and Influential Women of Law.
