Sherry Gray is the Assistant Controller at Buildertrend Solutions Inc., a leading cloud-based project management platform serving custom home builders and remodelers. Her career journey began in the call center, automotive, and postal industries, where she gained 14 years of diverse experience before transitioning into finance. Sherry joined CoConstruct, a Charlottesville-based company, as a fresh adult graduate, bringing her unique perspective and skill set. When Buildertrend acquired CoConstruct in 2021, she became an integral part of their finance team. In recognition of her contributions, she received a Q2 Spotlight Employee Award in 2022. Sherry first connected with the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) in 2018 when CoConstruct was nominated for an award. Inspired by its mission, she joined the Gala committee and later became a board member in 2021. Today, she proudly serves as the Chair, continuing to support and advocate for the local business innovation community.
