About me
Rebecca Thomas previously taught writing at the University of Virginia and West Virginia University for over a decade. A deep believer in the power of education and the written word, she holds bachelor's degrees in screenwriting and creative writing from Chapman University and an MFA in creative writing from West Virginia University. Her writing has been featured in nationally recognized literary journals and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. After volunteering as a tutor for LVCA, she fell in love with second-language education and teaches ESOL at PVCC's Thomas Jefferson Adult Career Education Center. In her free time, she can be found wrangling her two children around town.
