About me
Rory Brogan is the Founder and CEO at Torev Motors. Rory launched Torev in May 2022 and is the inventor of Torev’s flagship product, the double axial flux motor. He is an electrical engineer and mathematician who holds an MBA from Georgetown University and has prior experience in venture capital where he managed deal flow focused on Pre Seed to Series A startups.
Rory is passionate about entrepreneurship, with a special interest in tackling the world’s hardest problems through hardware solutions. He has appeared on podcasts including Hardware to Save a Planet and the Inventive Journey and has been recognized as a startup leader in the global automotive industry and in the local Arlington, VA community.
When not building Torev, Rory is a foodie, mixologist, and avid runner who enjoys exploring the DMV and surrounding areas.
