About me
For over 25 years, social entrepreneur Quinton “Q” Harrell has been connecting people and strategies across Charlottesville, VA, and beyond. Construction, real estate, retail, hospitality, and the nonprofit sector are some of the verticals Q has led the charge in by streamlining complex systems, relationships, and multi-partner deals. Today, he owns with his wife, Nansemond Clay Investors, a real estate investment firm, newly-acquired Bone Doctors Barbecue, a BBQ sauce business, and Heritage United Builders (HUB) - a project brokerage and workforce platform that connects, supports, and empowers minority subcontractors in the construction field.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Q currently serves as chairman of the Charlottesville Chamber’s Minority Business Alliance, serves on the board of directors for the Paramount Theater, and serves in an advisory role for New Hill Development Corporation, where his wife serves as CEO. Q creates and seeks wealth-building opportunities for African-Americans; relentlessly pursuing value creation, while also volunteering his time and resources towards systems change.
