About me
Ms. Edwards grew up in Charlottesville, attended Hampton Institute and Virginia State College and in 1970 began teaching special education and mathematics at the McGuffey Center, Buford Middle School, Walker Junior High, and Charlottesville High School. Ms. Edwards is a staunch advocate for public education and neighborhood preservation in the Black community.
