About me
Mark Van Meter was born and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated High School in Wichita, Ks., and has a completed Business Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mark met his wife, Jennifer in Indiana. They have two daughters who reside in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. The Van Meters have been Salvation Army OHicers throughout Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, West Virginia and were appointed to Charlottesville, VA. in June 2023. The Van Meters have been asked to lead a $28 million dollar Capital Campaign that will result in the demolition of the 207 Ridge Street property and create a new 47,000 sq. ft. Center of Hope for the Charlottesville, VA. area.
