About me
Marieka Walsh, a Citizens’ Climate Lobby volunteer and Charlottesville area resident, is the Enterprise Project Lead at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity. At AEO, she oversees the implementation of AEO’s enterprise-wide project management framework, collaborates on cross-departmental projects, and drives initiatives to successful completion. With a background in impactful social programs, Marieka previously worked with PYXERA Global, partnering with Fortune Global 500 companies like Mastercard, Medtronic, Pfizer and IBM on projects spanning across India, Brazil, Morocco, Tanzania, Thailand, Poland and the United States. Her diverse experiences include serving as a Peace Corps Community Health Volunteer in Mozambique and teaching English in the Republic of Georgia. Marieka holds an MA in Public Administration with a concentration in Non-profit Management from American University, a BA in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has a deep commitment to the environment, showcased through her publications about sustainability and volunteering work. She also earned her Sustainable Business Certificate from the University of Virginia.
