Dr. Logan D. Selby is the Co-Founder and CEO of DataShapes, a cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence company that is based in Charlottesville, VA. DataShapes is a products company focused on providing Signal and Waveform SaaS and embeddable solutions to the Defense and Telecommunications industries. Dr. Selby is a US Army veteran who has served in various strategic intelligence assignments around the globe. Dr. Selby continues to serve in the US Army Reserves as a Military Intelligence Officer and the Lead for Autonomy and Robotics for 1st Special Forces Command at Fort Liberty, NC. Dr. Selby has held Senior Data Science roles in both the Intelligence Community and the Fortune 500 environment. Dr. Selby is a Partner at The Four-Star Group, conducting technology due diligence on any potential firm activity. Dr. Selby is an active founder and strategic advisor to the world’s first autonomous racing team, Code19 Racing in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Selby continues to serve on various committees for various defense planning activities to include autonomy, robotics, synthetic biology, and human performance.
Dr. Selby was recognized in 2021 as an Innovation Fellow for Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering for his contributions to innovations in autonomy and robotics.
Logan holds a PhD in Autonomous Systems and a Masters in Data Science and Applied Machine Learning.
