About me
Lauria McShane is with the Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) as their Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative Assistant. Working out of PEC’s Charlottesville office, Lauria is expanding the presence of the Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative (VGBI) in Albemarle, Madison, Greene and Orange counties. VGBI is a collaboration between PEC, Smithsonian’s Virginia Working Landscapes, American Farmland Trust and Quail Forever that works with farmers to improve habitat for grassland birds.
