Juliet Trail, PhD, is the Executive Director of The Coincidence Project, a global nonprofit dedicated to meaningful coincidence, synchronicity and serendipity. Her area of specialty is the connection between compassion, nature, and coincidences. She is also Founding Director of Courageous Compassion Connection (C3), a nonprofit offering contemplative practices to diverse peoples to cultivate wellbeing and compassionate action.
Dr. Trail currently serves as Executive Committee Co-Chair of the national organization C-HEARTS: the Contemplative Higher Education Alliance for Research, Teaching and Service. She is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher. She builds on 20+ years in higher education. She has taught and presented on contemplation, with a focus on compassion and nature connection, across the US and in the UK, India, Brazil, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Rwanda. She is also a Charlottesville-area musician, performing in the synthwave duo Unheard Sirens Incorporated, creating music about positive social change and claiming our identities.
