About me
Ms. Johnson is a native of Charlottesville and a 1998 graduate of Charlottesville City Schools. She studied Health at Virginia State University and received her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has twelve years of experience as a school counselor at Hermitage High School in Henrico County, where she was part of the Henrico County Coalition of Equitable and Inclusive Schools. Ms. Johnson served as executive director of City of Promise since 2017 and is currently the Supervisor of Equity and Inclusion for Charlottesville City Schools.
