About me
Jeff Pompeo is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and board/advisor with over 25 years of experience leading technology startups throughout the full life-cycle of inception & funding, product launch, and exit. He is currently CEO at Caretaker Medical, an innovative MedTech company commercializing wireless wearable sensors for continuous remote patient monitoring across the continuum of care.
Previously, Jeff was President of PocketSonics, an ultrasound startup spun out of UVA that exited to Analogic Corp; was COO of electronics design firm ADI Engineering which exited to Silicom Ltd; and was a Board Director at Canadian startup TSO3 Corp which was acquired by Stryker. Jeff is Vice Chair of the Virginia Biotechnology Association, serves on the Virginia Catalyst oversight panel, and is an active advisor to numerous startups in the MedTech ecosystem. A Virginia native, Jeff holds a Computer Science degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Virginia Tech and lives in Charlottesville with his wife Lisa.
