About me
Erin Burcham joined Verge in June of 2021, where she leads two organizations under the regional technology alliance portfolio, the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC) and the Regional Accelerator and Mentoring Program (RAMP). Previously she worked as the director of talent solutions for the Roanoke Regional Partnership, focusing on technology, manufacturing and healthcare talent attraction and retention and business retention and expansion strategies. Erin has also worked for Virginia Tech in continuing and professional education and oversaw graduate programs in the Virginia Tech Roanoke Center. Over the course of her career, she has led four GO Virginia grants and advised on 10 additional projects. Burcham holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in leadership studies with a focus on economic development from Virginia Tech.
