Meyer is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years' experience of making an impact in the climate and energy sectors. He currently develops battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects for East Point Energy. With his teammates, he has secured discretionary permits for a number of projects throughout Virginia including in NoVA. He has acquired a number of sites for further development in Texas and Virginia. As part of this role he chairs the Charlottesville Renewable Energy Alliance trade association. Meyer is also an elected member of the Charlottesville City School Board.
