Chaitali is the founder of Optim (https://optim-et.com), a startup dedicated to accelerating energy delivery to end-users faster than traditional electrification methods. With over two decades in the energy industry, she has contributed to major power generation and utility projects.
Her expertise spans some of the world’s largest energy initiatives, including the Ivanpah Solar Thermal Facility (377 MW) in California’s Mojave Desert, the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant upgrade (adding 500 MW for 300,000 Florida residents), and the Rockdale Coal Power Plant in Texas (1,137 MW). She also played a key role in advancing clean energy with projects such as the Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle plant in Edwardsport, Indiana, and the Air-Quality Control System project in Stratton, Ohio.
In addition, Chaitali has worked with one of the nation’s leading utility providers, managing Transmission & Distribution System Operations to ensure reliable electricity service for nearly one million customers across Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
