About me
Ali is the Strategy & Ecosystem Manager at Third Derivative, RMI's Climate Tech Accelerator. She focuses on scaling Third Derivative’s impact through developing partnerships and refining & operationalizing organizational strategy.
Before joining Third Derivative, Ali spent over 6 years at RMI empowering corporates and cities to achieve their decarbonization goals through a combination of direct technical assistance, cohort-based support, and the development of technical tools and resources. She specializes in city-wide decarbonization strategy and modeling, renewable procurement, and group facilitation and education. Through this work on the Business Renewables Center (now Clean Energy Buyers Alliance) and the City Renewables Accelerator, she’s supported over 200 corporations and cities that have collectively procured over 10 gigawatts of renewables.
Ali started off her career in the clean energy industry at SunEdison, where she honed her technical skills by developing and financing solar projects for local governments, housing authorities, and corporations. She graduated from Middlebury College in 2014, with a BA in Environmental Science and Economics.
