Mr. Glover grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Virginia to attend university. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and remained in the Lynchburg, Virginia area. He has over six years of experience in the nuclear industry, successfully designing, testing, and installing automation systems to support nuclear plant outages and refueling activities at Framatome. Then, he moved to BWXT, where he led engineers in designing reactor control systems, overall system design, and integration, as well as detailed operations of instrumentation and control systems for advanced nuclear power plants. The advanced nuclear reactors he worked on pushed the boundaries of electrical and electronic equipment operating in highly hazardous radioactive environments.
He launched his entrepreneurial journey in 2022 by founding Realta Systems, while continuing to work full-time, to develop ideas he had with his co-owners. The company's vision is to make nuclear energy cost-competitive through advanced robotics. Under his leadership, Realta Systems is poised to make significant contributions to the field. The company's current funding is through the owner’s financial commitments and DOE SBIR grant funding.
