About me
Airea Garland, a Charlottesville native and proud resident, is establishing herself as a trusted curator and style influencer among locals and visitors alike. Airea is the owner of Mac and Mae, a boutique nestled on Charlottesville's historic Downtown Mall. Her passion for design aesthetics inspired her to pursue a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Virginia State University. Beyond curating stunning collections, Airea is dedicated to uplifting her community. She is a member of the Minority Business Commission as well as the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center Board. Airea is also the Program Coordinator for Charlottesville High School’s Swap Shop. Her innate sense of style and genuine love for connecting with others shines through in every aspect of her work.
