Adeleke Omitowoju is an investor, operator, and long-time champion of entrepreneurs with over 15 years of experience across venture capital, private equity, enterprise sales, and startup growth. He’s passionate about helping founders scale transformative businesses—from early traction to sustainable success.
Adeleke brings a founder-first lens to his work, shaped by years of deploying capital and supporting startups across SaaS, deep tech, and consumer sectors. Previously, he was a Principal at 1863 Ventures, where he led investments in early-stage companies and advised startups on fundraising, go-to-market strategy, and operational scale.
Adeleke has been fortunate to support high-growth companies such as RASA, Binkey, Clear Eye Test, Ask Humans, STEM Lingo, and many more. His approach is rooted in authentic relationship-building and helping founders navigate the real-world challenges of building impactful businesses.
He currently serves on the Board of Mindshare, a network of high-growth entrepreneurs, and is an active member of BLK VC’s DC Chapter. Adeleke holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s from Florida A&M University and lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and two sons.
