About me
Peace In The Streets, co-founded by Jamey Rush, Martize Tolbert, Robert Gray, Derek Rush, and Nick Feggans spreads their message of hope and compassion by assisting the inner city community with its daily needs. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the city of Charlottesville. With gun violence and poverty being two of the groups main focal points amongst others, a 24-hour hotline was created to offer the community immediate conflict resolution services and also employment resources. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
