Founded in 2022, Out and About is the leading host of LGBTQ+ social networking and empowerment in the Charlottesville region. Hosting an average of 5 events every month, our mission of “Creating Community, Forging Family” is more important now than ever before. Our socials vary in type, location, day, and time to ensure everyone feels included and involved! In addition to coordinating a wide variety of experiences and adventures to connect our community, Out and About is currently the only local organization providing free, in-home HIV test kits - because we believe a healthy community is a powerful community. So, the only question is, “Are you ready to get Out and About?”
