Light House Studio, a nonprofit film education center located in Charlottesville, VA was founded in 1999 by artists and educators passionate about teaching youth self-expression through the art of film. Since then LH has helped create thousands of documentaries, dramas, and animated films. Our student work has shown in festivals across the United States and has received national awards. LH was recognized for “Best Student Programs” at the New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films.
Since 2003, our community partnership workshops have ensured that all young people in our region have access to digital arts education.
