This event offers a walking tour of the Garden's stream, focusing on the changes and restoration of its habitat. Led by the Garden's Educational Coordinator, Bruce Gatling-Austin, participants will learn about the ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance the local ecosystem.

The Botanical Garden of the Piedmont is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to creating an urban oasis and community resource for all residents of and visitors to Greater Central Virginia. The Garden will serve as an admission-free neighborhood hub and discovery center, celebrating the flora of Central Virginia while providing learning and entertainment opportunities for everyone. Located on nearly 15 acres in the northeastern section of McIntire Park, the Botanical Garden is currently in the Construction Document phase.
