Join this engaging conversation with Citizens’ Climate Lobby Charlottesville Chapter, Community Climate Collaborative, the City of Charlottesville’s Office of Sustainability, and Albemarle County’s Climate Protection Program to learn about the climate solutions and investments being driven by our community. You’ll also learn how to access the resources that are being made available to confront the challenges of climate change and transition towards a low-carbon economy. Whether you’re a curious community member, local business owner or an experienced climate advocate, this session will provide you with critical information about how individually and collectively we can make our community healthier and more resilient. Furthermore, this session will underscore the pivotal role of environmental activism, and environmental justice in sustaining momentum for a healthier planet. Our one hour panel discussion will be followed by an interactive networking opportunity. We hope to provide you with further inspiration to take meaningful action and be a champion for sustainability. Snacks provided; bring your own water bottle.
