Entrepreneurs face many hurdles bringing their products and services to market. During this workshop, we’ll explore (1) How to keep DEI alive in a shifting political and cultural climate; (2) prioritizing the business of your business; (3) the value of bidirectional mentorship; and (4) naming and maximizing your strengths. We will examine these lessons through both a historical lens and current best-in-class business practices, and lead participants in a range of interactive activities to apply these lessons learned to their own businesses and organizations.
Led by Dr. Kimberly Butler Willis and Kellye McKenzie, GOODSTOCK Consulting is an equity-centered organizational development firm founded in 2018 by a trio of Black women, has steadily built their client base, revenue, and operational knowledge of business management with an unapologetic commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
