About me
Bad Hat Fire is full of CVL natives and members have been entranced by the forced focus of fire for over 20 years. A group of like-minded fire artists emerged easily in Charlottesville after the IX warehouse's fire circus in 2006, McGuffey Art Center fire circles, Afton Mountain Full Moon gatherings, and local "Beat Juice Parties". Balancing work and play, Bad Hat’s energy is fed by the collection of others. We believe in the power of togetherness, shared experience, and a wide-base. Fire has been our muse and source of community for a decade now. We are forever thrilled to share our love of fire and our intimate relationship to it with the audience.
