About me
Mimm Patterson is a mixed media and encaustic artist you'll find in Studio 6B at McGuffey Art Center. Since moving from California to Crozet in 2022, Mimm has immersed herself in the Charlottesville art community. In October 2024 she had her first solo show, 'Small Stories About a Woman Named Barbara', at New City Arts Welcome Gallery. This October she'll open her second solo show at Live Arts. Mimm has also exhibited in group shows at Charlottesville's Second Street Gallery, McGuffey Art Center, and at Women Made Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to her work as an artist Mimm is a writer who facilitates Guided Autobiography workshops and a yoga therapist specializing in pain management.
