About me
Since childhood, with an early reverence for wood, Alan Box Levine has always had his feet in two rivers, as a craftsman and an artist.
Alan is currently pursuing cabinet making, furniture restoration, site-specific installations, and mixed-media collages. His work combines a deep knowledge of his craft, an experienced and keen eye for composition and scale, and his passion as an artist and poet. Sculpture is his vehicle of expression - deconstructing complicated issues and discovering their history, grace, truth, and beauty.
