About me
Gia Ray got her start as a professional dancer at the age of 21 when she moved to Mexico to be a Salsa and Bachata dancer. After half a year in San Miguel de Allende, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a model and actress but still loved to dance in her free time. A few years later, she returned to Charlottesville to begin her professional ballroom dance career as a teacher at “Blue Light Ballroom” (now Fred Astaire). Aside from teaching, she also competes with both professionally with her dance partner Michael Scott, and with her students.
